CREAMY PASTA
WITH VIENNAS

This Creamy Smoked Vienna Pasta Bake brings together smoky sausage,
creamy mushroom sauce, and plenty of cheese —
a sure hit for the whole family!

INGREDIENTS:

450g Semolo Pasta
250g DC Meat Smoked Viennas, sliced
250ml Cream of Mushroom Soup
500ml Full Cream Milk
300g Grated Cheese
50g Shredded Parmesan Cheese
16g Flour (about 2 tbsp)
5–15ml Salt (to taste)
240ml Fresh Cream
2–5ml Black Pepper (to taste)
30g Butter or Margarine (about 2 tbsp)

METHOD:

Cook the Pasta:
Boil the pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Sauce:
In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour to form a smooth paste (roux).
Gradually whisk in the milk, cream, and Cream of Mushroom soup. Stir continuously until thickened.

Add the Cheese & Seasoning:
Mix in the grated cheese and Parmesan until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.

Add the Smoked Viennas:
Stir in the sliced DC Meat Smoked Viennas and cooked pasta. Toss gently to coat everything in the sauce.

Bake:
Transfer the mixture to a greased oven dish. Sprinkle extra cheese on top and bake at 180°C for 20–25 minutes, or until golden and bubbling.
